Canadian youth delegate to Copenhagen climate summit available for interviews
A group of young Canadians is participating in the well-publicized Copenhagen climate change summit.
These 25 youth from around the country hope to demonstrate Canada's commitment to environmental issues, and bring home valuable information about climate change, as well as strategies to combat the problem.
The delegation will meet with MP and Federal Environment Minister David McGuinty, Liberal MP Joyce Murray and former Prime Minister Paul Martin.
Delegate Elizabeth Dubois is available for media interviews. Ms. Dubois can speak to the following points:
• What the delegates hope to achieve in Copenhagen
• What the delegates see as Canada's role in combating climate change
• Why the summit is important in a global context
