Agrienergy Producers’ Association of Ontario (APAO) to host policy workshop in Eastern Ontario
Workshop will feature alternative means of distributing farm-produced renewable energy and presentation by Chief Energy Conservation Officer of Ontario
(Ottawa, Ontario) Tomorrow, Ontario’s Chief Energy Conservation Officer will host a presentation as part of the APAO policy workshop. The event will feature discussions on alternative means of distributing farm produced renewable energy, including upgrading biogas to supplement the natural gas supply, the mechanics of a specialized marketplace for farm-produced electricity, and the vending of carbon credits to farm-based renewable energy projects.
Media are invited to attend the event and document the growing opportunities for farmers to participate in the development of Ontario’s renewable energy supply.
